an increasing number of companies decide to acquire a kosher certification so that not only many Jews but also many vegetarians for example, can eat according to the rules of their cult or for natural choices. In Italy there are many kosher-certified companies, e.g, Barilla, Bonomelli, Ferrarelle, and many, many others.
Many typical products, for example Heinz ketchup or Kellogs, are kosher certified, not only in Italy but throughout Europe; their factories in Spain, Germany and the UK are under the supervision of the Beit Din of Manchester.
In 2011, too, many of the producers of food raw materials, as the citric acid or the ascorbic acid, decided to have their products kosher-certified, so that, in turn, the Italian users of the food production can benefit of such a choice.
Thousands of products are certified in Italy, Europe, USA and in Israel.
